Chose the 6670 because it has some good reviews as a budget gaming card - and it is. This particular model by Asus was the cheapest version of the 6670 on offer and I had read that Asus was a relatively good quality manufacturer so it seems like a good buy. Amazon's free super saver delivery took just 2 days, so another saving there.
Card itself is great value for money - really good performance at medium resolutions/detail over a range of games. Interestingly, flight Simulator X is greatly improved - I had been told it would not benefit much from a modern card as it is an old game and relies more on single thread cpu power than the gpu. In fact, I can now run FSX at max resolution -(1920 x 1080 on my monitor)- with max. detail and effects and its running very smooth. So, if you are after a cheap way of running the old flight sim, this is it.
Set up was easy, uneventful - just put in the card, download lastet drivers from AMD and it's done. The Catalyst graphics control center is straightforward, including the overcloacking settings, should you want to push it a bit...

i love asus brands. if asus made their own cpu i would buy it. i have a asus mobo and it looks great and performs well. the graphic card 6670 from asus has amd hd based software and when playing blu rays the quality is great. i played AvP 2010 on full specs - no lag, no disruptive pixel issues. smooth jamming, babe! cheap and cheerful is what i call it. but if you want major pc gaming then you want a higher level card from 6770 to the latest 7000 hd series from amd. not sure about nvidia but they are also very good. worth the buck for budget build. worth buying from Amazon who have customer service out of this world and with great customer centric. and I mean Amazon itself and not some shop selling through Amazon. that way your refund is dealt with asap if you have a query.

This card has made a huge improvement to my pc's graphics; i was running an old ati x1300 and from that to this is incredible I am now able to play games like shogun 2 on high with about average of 33fps. If you are looking to get a budget card this is your best option (or better the DDR5 version: about 10% faster) This is best not for gamers demanding ultimate graphics on games like crysis 2 and metro 2033.

The card arrived quickly and was generally easy to install. (The casing of my machine makes for an awkward fit with some products, but this shouldn't be a problem with most cases).
I've not used it on anything taxing yet, but for the older games I have (Knights of the Old Republic 2, Deus Ex: Invisible War) it works great with maximum game settings.
