I did a lot of research before I decided to plump for the Sonnet pro-reader and I am glad I did. The product itself arrived promptly and well packaged. Upon opening I simply pushed the whole unit into my MacBook and the computer did the rest itself. The unit itself sits almost flush to the side of the computer and sticks out by about a millimetre or so, so it really does not show and thus you can leave it permanently in situ. I never take mine out and you cannot tell its there at all.
I have used it several times now and the photos transfer seamlessly to I-Photo. I shoot in both J-Peg and RAW formats and the read write speed is so much faster than I used to get with my old USB cable. My only regret is not getting this sooner.
