This is an excellent product for the price, especially with 2Gb on board.

Installation was a doddle and although the ATI Catalyst drivers and software are included, I used the official ones from ATI.

Now supports my two monitors at one with ease.

Video editing performance has also now improved, so completely happy with this purchase.

VTX3D 2GB Radeon HD 5450 DDR3 PCI-E 2.1 Graphics Card

So pleased with this product. It came within time and was packed suitably yet sensitively to the environment.
Here's a list of pros and cons as I see it.

PROS:
1) ATI Radeon technology (ATI is owned by AMD ofc).
2) Not large, fits easily into case and into PCI-E slot - no problems at all.
3) 2GB DDR3 makes it able to handle any film, blu-ray, editing and any application.
4) Sink instead of fan greatly reduces noise but has not increased in heat.
5) Low power usage.
6) Games: Crysis 2, Global Arena, World of Tanks and the likes all run perfectly on high settings.
7) Price is amazing.

CONS:
1) Drivers on CD will need updating.
2) Instruction leaflet gives the right directions, but for the wrong item.
3) The GPU has not received much acclaim but read point 6 of the Pros.

Overall, this is great value for money.

Great Value, 18 July 2011

This is a must have for any one that wants a good value graphics card. I had an ATI Saphire 512mb that cost me £80 and this one blows the socks off it, my computer is a slimline pc which means i need a low profile graphics card. This graphics card IS a low profile card unfortunately didn't come with the bracket i needed but i already had the bracket i needed on my original graphics card! Don't be fooled by thinking just because its cheap it wont be any good because its a very fast graphics card and i can play games like Toca race driver and Dirt. All in all a great purchase, Cheers.

I bought this card as my old faithful x1300 had finally died on me, and to be honest, I'm glad it did die, otherwise I wouldn't have found this brilliant card.

The card came with all the latest drivers / software, and installing it was as easy as plugging the card in.
It runs at quite a high temperature since it's a low profile card, so I would advise strapping a small fan onto it to keep the temp down.

The card can run most new games on full settings, TF2, Minecraft, Portal 2 , and will achieve around 39 FPS whilst doing so.

The only problem I came across whilst using this card is that it uses high amounts of CPU for no reason, this can easily be rectified by going into device manager, system devices and disabling the high definition audio controller.

Overall I am extremely happy on the purchase, 2gb for £34 is an absolute bargain.

Card works great and being fanless is obviously nice and quiet which was one of the criteria for choosing this card.

It plays all my emulators without any problems and even games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X and F1 2012. Without any problems on high details levels. On the Windows experience index I get:

4.1 Graphics (Desktop performance for Aero)
5.3 Gaming graphics (3D business and gaming graphics performance)

1080p video playback is smooth and without a hitch using VLC player.

It does me fine for what I need it to be and for the 30 odd quid I paid for it on Amazon isn't going to break the bank.

Overall it is a decent card, nice and quiet and plays games, video playback is great no problems at all.

The rest of my system specs that matter are:

Dual core 2.13 GHZ cpu
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Installation was straight forward. Installed drivers from the CD and then updated them from AMD's website. The performance is increased in my case but can not comment on the gaming side at all. I use it for HD media and its doing its job there.

Had I problem with the sound and wasted couple of hours on it. The onboard sound disappeared as the Graphic Card installs its own sound drivers where it produces sound through the HDMI port. I was looking for it in the operating system's settings to bring it back on. It turned out to be disabled in BIOS. If you want the onboard sound to be detected by your computer then go to bios and enable it from there.
