I'm very surprised how nobody has reviewed the MSI brands of GTX 580s on Amazon. Honestly. The Twin Frozr range is one of the very best versions of the GTX 580 you can possibly buy. Check out this article on Tom's Hardware: [link removed - how unfair!]
Card has one mini HDMI port and an adapter lead that ends with HDMI. Also has a DVI to VGA adapter. Good enough, really. Doesn't come with SLI bridge so you will have to get that one separately if need be. Seems a great card for using with SLI due to the nature of its fantastic heat sinks.
The factory overclock isn't huge - great for those of us on a budget. The important thing is it still has the potential to be tuned further and it remains extremely competitive with some of the bigger daddies in the GTX 580 world.
The real important thing is the amazing cooling solution this card uses. I'm not joking when I tell you it runs easily 8-10 decibels quieter than most 580's and keeps the card REALLY cool. Mind you, I'm not a power user or anything like that. I don't tend to run games pumped up with everything set to extreme, however I can confirm that even under significant load it isn't very loud. Makes the Radeon HD 6970 (AMD's equivalent graphics card) sound like an aircraft taking off in comparison. As I said before, stays cool, too. Haven't had mine exceed 40 degrees, but I haven't really pushed it to the max, plus my case is loaded with fans, so I can't provide any reliable information regarding the card when under 100% load.
What this knowledge does do is reassure me that, should I really push the card in the future, I'd be hard pressed to get it into the 'danger' temperature zone. Even under marginal load the cooling fans aren't very loud.

After buying a "GIGABYTE GTX 580" which was a steaming pile of POO! and got returned after being told (by gigabyte) that they had a known "ISSUE" I was a bit apprehensive getting another 580... but MSI have not let me down! this is a great card from the word go! plays everything you can throw at it and is nice and cool too. Stays under 70 C playing BF3 on Ultra with fans @ 50%. Recommended.
