This graphics card is easy to install and is recognised by Windows 8 straight away. Recommend either using the device driver disc supplied or downloading the graphics driver from ASUS. As a hardware component it can be used with most 2012 PC games and a lot of the 2013 releases. Recommend checking out http://www.game-debate.com/ to make sure your favourite games will run using this graphics card before purchase. ASUS do more powerful graphics cards if you want to future proof your gaming options for 2013-14.

Whilst I am not a gamer, installing this card was simplicity itself, the cd provided gave all of the drivers and software required and Windows 7 looked after the rest. It is highly unlikely that I will take this card to it's limits but as a keen photographer and user of graphics, this card will do exactly what I want. So this is a fantastic product, it really cured the bottleneck for applications in my system and increased frame rate in heavy game (Flight Simulator X) by 30 fps, but also allowed me to play the game at full graphics settings, very nice indeed! The only problems i have encountered are power requirements, you need at least a 400W PSU but 500W recommended to run the card comfortably, this card is not intrusive of space in the case and i had no trouble fitting it into my regular sized pc case, the card comes with its own fan but significantly adds to the heat inside the case, so a well cooled gaming case is recommended, otherwise, a fantastic mid range card to start your pc building experience! I would recommend to anybody.

Well I have have been using a Radeon HD 5450 1gb card and only managing 20 fps while playing World of Warcraft in low settings and Raid Finder has been painfull to say the least, so I decided enough was enough so i talked to some friends about graphics and I found this one, for under 50 pounds it's an amazing deal, logged into WoW and straight away I was getting 120 fps on low so I cranked it up to high settings and tried LFR and managed 40fps...now it's a diferent game :)
