i bought this card because i have had enough of stuttering, flickering and endless problems that i have had with dual gpu cards.
i have had the amd 6990 for a little over a year and i get micro stutter no matter what i do...no matter what drivers or caps i use and xfire can not be turned off.

so i recieved the gtx 680 last week and i am now able to play battlefield 3 very smoothly! and no more flickering issue in f1 2012 and i get better results all round.

i have never had a single gpu card before and i will never buy a dual gpu card ever again.

end result is amazing...easy installation and i dont have to configure anything in the control panel to be happy with the performance in any of my games.

Easy to set up, temperatures are lower than expected which are around 60c while running games, adaptive vsync not as good as expected but that should improve with future updates, two generations in front of consoles, very pleased.

A recommended buy for any computer enthusiast. This graphics card is so fast. I am running 3 23" monitors on demanding games at a 5760x1080 resolution and the card doesn't break a sweat.

A Fantastic card - topped by excellent driver support, 2 Mar 2013

Previously I had been running a HD6970, which I was ultimately somewhat disappointed with; with poor temperatures, performance and ultimately, bad driver support.

I therefore decided to take the plunge and fork out a fairly hefty sum of money for this card - but I certainly don't regret it. It performs fantastically - every single game to date will run on the maximum settings with anti aliasing enabled, including Crysis 3, Battlefield 3, Witcher 2 etc, all meeting the 60fps mark.

The card requires a minimum 550W PSU, though i found the maximum power draw was only around 180W. The card is also capable of overclocking, and does so pretty well, though the card itself has a 'boost' function build in when applicable.

Overall this is a very good card without spending a totally ridiculous amount of money for the GTX 690 or the Titan. Nvidia are always very good with driver support and you'll know you'll be making a good investment if you buy this card for the next few years.

Hope this helped.
