This card is now crossfired with a 7970, both clocked at 1GHz. Enjoyig the increase in frame rate even when it's a 16x - 8x configuration.

I bought this card to upgrade from my two HD5750s, which were beginning to struggle on some race sims with triple screen Eyefinity running.
The card was easy to fit (although you need a double space) and soon up and running with the latest drivers.
I had a bit of trouble getting my three screen setup running - it is advertised as 'Flex' edition, which means no active adaptor needed, but that is not strictly true - partly because I did not read this properly and partly because Sapphire could explain it a bit more clearly. In fact no active adaptor is needed, but ONLY if three DVI monitors are being used. So after trying and failing with a variety of cables, I finally bought an active adaptor for the third (VGA) screen and the problem was solved.

This is an expensive card, much more than I have ever wanted to spend on a graphics card, but upgrading to the second 5750, while it worked for a while, was a bit of a false economy, and it really only added about 50% more power instead of doubling it. So I bit the bullet and decided to stretch to the best I could afford this time.

My only criticism is that the Driver cd included in the box was for a completely different card, which was obviously a simple error in packing. But that was a minor problem, as I downloaded the latest drivers anyway.

I'm very impressed with the speed of this card, it is far, far quicker than my two HD5750s combined, and I have not tried to overclock it (well, I briefly raised settings slightly to check it works) so it should be future-proof for me for a few years.

It runs quietly and if anything, cooler than my previous cards.

In Eyefinity, on my system (AMD quad Phenom ii 960 3Ghz, 8GB RAM), the card easily runs Codemasters F1 2012 on Ultra settings, and rFactor and Game Stock Car 2012 on highest possible settings.
It does also manage rFactor 2 on highest settings, but with triple screen sapping the power, it is better to turn the graphics down slightly to improve performance.

Very pleased with this card :)

OK First off hear are my Pc Spec's!

ASUS - SABERTOOTH Z77
i7 3770K Oc 4.ghz
12Gbs corsair vengeance At 1600Mhz
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7950 FleX OC With BOOST 3GB GDDR5
OCZ ZS Series 750W 80PLUS Bronze High Performance Power Supply
Vertex 4 - SATA 3 SSD
zalman z11 Pc Case
Zalman CNPS8900 Extreme CPU Cooler

Pros!!

OK Now About the Card It self!! Over Clocks Very well.. But Don't be mistaken It is BEAST AT STOCK..
Iv had it 4days and Totally think it's Well Worth the extra £10 to £30 pounds diffidence on all the other 7950s Dew to the 5 screen Support n the amount of different leads to set them up strait out the box..

I can Max out every game i OWN.. Metro Last Light,grid2,Hitman Absolution,Far cry3.. Just sum of the games i play

Note: Not all games Can be played With AA Turned All the way to Max... E.g Metro last Light Dose require You to turn AA Down to x4 With ultra Detail.. But dose still look very detailed and Game play is mint... If u Crossfire This Card with Another You would be Abel to Turn AA all the way Up to 16x.. And I plan to pick Another 7950 up soon as prices Fall as i would love to see what Crossfire Will Bring to my pc..

You will need a Good Power supply.. I would use 900w my self if you plan to crossfire this 7950 but if you using one on its own i think sum were between 650w. and 750w is a good ball park for this card as it gives you room to over clock down the line.

All In all its A grate Buy and can not Complain for the price i payed With was £250 I can not wait 4 these to come down in price so i can pickup a second one,,

Hear is some game Play videos if you wanna See how well it CAN perform!!

I had the MSI 660 ti PE card for a few weeks and became overly disappointed with the average FPS I was achieving without OC, as its a new card I want to OC later on when more demanding games require it. I swapped it for this 7950 and i'll never look back, it runs extremely well and stays quite cool under a heavy load, better than the MSI from my observations, Frames are much more consistent and I havnt experienced any amd driver problems as yet with 13.4. If your on this page looking for a 7950 get this one !
