Going from a HD4870 1GB 256bit, i was a bit skeptical about going to this card, ok its much newer but it has 128bit..anyway it was a a fantastic upgrade..

The f12012 benchmark test gave this result for the HD4870 - av_fps="34.284088" min_fps="26.064951

and gave this for the 650 ti - 49.413887" min_fps="37.272678

impressed i was to say the least, that was on high setting, whats that, you want the ultra settings result, ok -

hd4870 - av_fps="31.529594" min_fps="24.311975

650ti - 40.782360" min_fps="33.920715

ok sorry for boring you. the other games ive throw at it are battlefield 2 and metro 2033,well battlefield you would expect it to handle as its an oldish game, i havent seen it drop below the 60 (vsync is on so it cant go above it either..metro 2033 is handles amazing, cant really give you a fps figure as ive been messing with the settings alot and had different results, but even on medium setting that game looks amazing..

also there is room to OC this card, i got my best OC with MSI afterburner with these settings: -

volt +37
core +150
Memory +288

on the benchmarking programs i got impressive results, F1 maybe 2-3 better FPS. but it depends on the game you may get better results on other games..

the voltage can go higher but i found it got unstable after pushing anything higher, so ill stick to these settings, the voltage increase isnt huge so the temps shudnt go much higher

for the money its an amazing card..i sold my PS3 to move over to pc gaming but havent got and wasnt prepared to spend mega bucks on a top end card, i personally thinks this gves better resuls than a ps3..

gonna get black ops 2 soon, ive seen clips of people running it on this card so shudnt be an issue..

also you can relly grumble at a 3 year warranty..

i forgot to mention the size, wow, its no longer than the solt clip at the end..its like a pocket rocket this card

I opted to buy this card as it's similar in specification to it's bigger brother the GTX 660 and offers great value for money. From reading and watching reviews online the card also delivers a quieter gaming experience compared with other cards which are a lot more expensive. This was an important factor in my decision to buy, as my previous card made a lot of noise whilst gaming. The noise levels are now considerably lower then before which I am really pleased about.

To give you an idea of performance I can achieve in my system, when playing FarCry 3 at 1920x1080p resolution with high settings and no anti aliasing. Frames per second will be in the average of low to mid 50's. For reference I have an i5 3570k running at a stock 3.4ghz with 8gb of 1333mhz RAM.

So overall the latest games look great and play smooth with a quiet cooling solution that keeps the temperature low. If you're deciding between the 650 and the 660Ti, I think that extra few quid is worth the performance increase.

I also recommend buying from Nad Electronics as they were by far the cheapest and delivered to me next day with 3 years warranty!!

I am very pleased with this product- and it takes up much less space than similar graphics cards- and runs very cool and quiet. Can play Dead Space 3 and Devil May Cry at ultra 1680x1050 60FPS and Metro Last Light on High 45FPS 1680x1050. This is despite having a old quad core processor (Q6600 2007). Leadtek are a good brand- with prices at least £30 than other brands for this card at time of writing.
